Aiea Key Club was chartered on January 3, 1980, and as a student-led club, it maintains the purpose of serving the community. Members of Aiea Key Club learn leadership skills that will last a lifetime and this is made possible with the guidance of the club’s sponsoring Kiwanis, the Kiwanis Club of Pearl Harbor.
In the past, Aiea Key Club has held many community service projects such as beach clean-ups, the Angel Tree at Pearlridge Center, and volunteering at the Honolulu Marathon. The club now aims to continue the wonderful service our club has done in past years, along with setting new goals for our club to achieve. This school year, Aiea Key Club strives to increase their membership in order to provide students with the opportunity to provide service and learn what it means to be part of a team. The club is committed to increase the community service hours per each dues-paid member to ensure that the club serves its purpose.
