Recognition Dues Deadline Update
The Member Recognition Committee has now agreed to extend the dues deadline eligibility for all CNH contests to December 22nd, 2021 from its previous deadline of December 15th, 2021. This means that the committee will be using the dues report from December 22nd, 2021 when checking recognition eligibility. In other words, although the official on-time dues deadline is January 1st, the MR Committee will only accept contest submissions from clubs who are considered dues paid by December 22nd. This includes ALL contests: Division, District, and International level.

For the rest of January, the CNH District wants to promote the benefits of bee-ing a Key Clubber. Take this opportunity to share your favorite Key Club moments with your home, school, and community. To participate, simply use #JoinOurHive2022 and #CNHKeyClub in your posts and you may be featured on CNH District’s Instagram! Don’t forget to request an overlay by emailing a picture of yourself, name, division (D22K), position, and the reason why you joined Key Club to [email protected]. Can you believe it’s a few months before the term officially ends!? With DCON coming around the corner and the conclusion of Conclave a few days ago, I am proud to announce that we have elected Carly Miyamoto, current Pearl City Key Club President and Division News Editor, to be the next Lieutenant Governor to serve Komohana for the 2022-2023 term!

Notice To Conclave
With the many ongoing concerns of the huge spike in COVID-19 cases throughout Hawaii, we have made the decision to shift the hybrid Conclave to be conducted 100% virtually on Zoom. Although I’m sure many of you were excited for the first in-person division event in about two years, we do want to keep in mind your safety with the ongoing circumstances. We also wanted to keep in mind the inclusivity and accessibility of this event for each of the members. For the club leadership, please register your delegates as soon as possible! Division 22 Komohana Contests
Applications for six division contests are open, including member of the year, faculty advisor of the year, Kiwanis advisor of the year, and more! Only dues-paid members can submit e-portfolios. The deadline for submissions is January 8th.

Division Shirts Update
A quick update on the division shirts, we have just placed the overall order with our vendor a few days ago and we expect it to be delivered around December 22. We will then distribute the shirts to the clubs and from there, please reach out to your club’s President and advisors on how they will distribute the shirts to you.

Division Judging Committee (DJC) Applications
DJC Applications are now open! What is DJC you ask? Well, every year, there are 6 contests that clubs can submit for and these contests are judged on the division level. In order to judge these contests, each division is responsible to form a Division Judging Committee (DJC). This is a Division Committee that consists of members from various clubs. So that means applications are not only limited to officers, regular members can apply as well! They will act as the judges for all of the submissions the Division receives from these contests!
